The Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County as well as The Native Plant Center at Westchester Community College and Watershed Agricultural Council will be hosting a three-part "lunch and learn" webinar series focused on soil and water conservation topics. These topics will be of interest to residents and others living and working in suburban and urban Westchester County and elsewhere. The webinars will be free of charge and will be hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County through Zoom. Further details and registration information for each webinar will be emailed separately closer to the webinar dates.

The District and its partners also plan to sponsor a in-person workshop on grassland and meadow creation and restoration on October 5 at Westchester Community College. The primary instructor will be Larry Weaner with Larry Weaner Landscape Associates. Further details and registration information will be emailed closer to the date of the workshop. This workshop is dependent on the status of the pandemic and related ability of Westchester Community College to host this in-person event in October.
