WHAT IS IT? 4-H is a community of more than 6.4 million young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H'ers participate in fun, hands-on learning activities supported by the latest research of land-grant universities (Cornell University in New York State).
4-H aims to grow the next generation of inventors, entrepreneurs and problem-solvers by giving youth plenty of opportunities to try their hands at real world science 4-H Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) projects give families science enrichment opportunities and connects kids to Cornell’s science outreach programs.
ALL NYS youth ages 10 years of age and older are welcome. You don’t have to be enrolled in 4-H to participate! The cost for the weekend is $75 per person (camper/chaperone/volunteer). 4-H STEM Camp is held at 4-H Camp Shankitunk and has several tracks to choose from. Each camper chooses one track to learn about for the weekend. Youth may choose from:
Archery Dynamics, Backyard Engineering, Code Explorers, Micro-Organisms, Outdoor Survival, Rocketry
