Session 1 of 2017 Home Gardening Lecture - 2 LA HSW Credit Hours will be awarded
Michael Wilson will speak about Horticulture along the Silk Road, the ancient trade route from East to West. He will discuss horticultural practices and water resources there. Michael will include pictures of the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the botanical garden in Tashkent.
Michael Wilson, Adjunct Professor of Environmental Studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey, is the Horticultural Laboratory Technician for Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Rockland County.Michael, a grower of alpine plants, is a member of the North American Rock Garden Society and was responsible for the rock gardens at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum.
