4-H Educational Explorations

Stephen Soltish, 4-H Educator, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County
Students dive into the fascinating properties of beeswax and how it can be used in everyday life. They'll discover how beeswax helps protect and support a hive, then put their learning into action by crafting their own beeswax food wraps—an eco-friendly, reusable alternative to plastic wrap. As they create, they’ll explore the sustainability of beeswax and its role in reducing waste.
