Session 6 of 2019 Home Gardening Lecture - 1 LA HSW Credit Hours will be awarded

Come view the ecological restoration originally planned and executed by Sara Stein, a native plant pioneer who documented her planting experiences in her books Noah’s Garden, Planting Noah’s Garden and My Weeds. The property spans 5 ½ acres and includes uplands, wetland meadows and woodlands. Ms. Stein emphasized native species important to wildlife rarely used in landscaping. Grasses, sedges, a moss garden and numerous paths through the various habitats all demonstrate sustainable alternatives to conventional landscape design.

Ellen and James acquired this property in 2007 and have been maintaining it since then.
