Session 4 of 2019 Home Gardening Lecture
Vivian Utko believes in “hands-on.”This lecture will include tastings and sniffings in addition to her methods for successful growing of herbs and edible flowers. Soils and companion plantings will be included. She will cover fresh use and preserving your homegrown herbs.
Vivian Utko is a CCE Master Gardener Volunteer and a member of the Herb Society of America. She directed the herb gardens at the John Jay Homestead State Historical Site in Katonah. Through the love of growing and using her herbs in food preparations, she developed her own gardens, including a tea garden, an English garden and other edible specialty plantings. Vivian has opened her gardens to organizations for viewing and learning.
$18 per lecture ($20 at door) or $90 for the entire 2019 Home Gardening Lecture Series
