ORCHIDS EVERYWHERE

SESSION 3 OF THE 2018 HOME GARDENING LECTURE SERIES

Joyce Tomaselli has grown orchids for over 35 years.She will show that beautiful native orchids can grow where you least expect them and orchids from other continents can be grown successfully in our homes. Joyce will explain the history of orchids and propagation techniques. She will highlight orchid species most suited to our homes and gardens.

Joyce Tomaselli is the Community Horticulture Resource Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County. Her work involves coordinating volunteer Master Gardeners and their outreach programs at events such as the Dutchess County Fair. She creates and delivers educational programs on gardening, home composting, invasive species and is responsible for the monthly newsletter "Dutchess Dirt."

South on Sprain Brook Parkway to Tuckahoe Road East (2nd Tuckahoe exit). Take Tuckahoe Road to Central Park Avenue (Route 100). Turn right onto Central Park Avenue. Get in left lane to make U-Turn at traffic signal and a left into jug handle (additional parking here) to go North on Central Park Avenue.
Will Library parking lot is on right (just past green sign that reads Tuckahoe Road).

Fee

$18 per lecture ($20 at door) or $90 for the entire 2018 Home Gardening Lecture Series
