Session 4 of 2017 Home Gardening Lecture
Leah Waybright Kennell, AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers), CFD (Certified Floral Artist) will demonstrate floral designs for the home using seasonal fresh plant materials. Leah will show the techniques of a floral artist who gathers inspiration from nature and garden landscapes. Some attendees will have an opportunity to take home a floral arrangement designed by Leah.
Leah is an instructor of floral design at the New York Botanical Garden and author/composer of a musical gift book about flowers entitled Beauty Gone Wild.She serves as the curator of the Wildflower Island at Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining, NY. She will offer her book for sale.

From the North or South take Saw Mill Parkway to Dobbs Ferry/ Ardsley, Exit 17.Turn East onto Ashford Avenue at light (left from North and right from South).Proceed two lights and turn left on 9A North. Next turn right onto Heatherdell Rd. Continue approximately 1 mile and then turn left onto Olympic Lane. Go to Multipurpose Bldg. (at top of hill).
