POLLINATORS! ENHANCING HABITAT IN OUR LANDSCAPES

Session 2 of 2017 Home Gardening Lecture - 2 LA HSW Credit Hours will be awarded

Jennifer Stengle will speak about pollinators, which are not limited to bees but include butterflies, moths, birds and others. Jen will discuss how your backyard can offer habitat and food for pollinators. She will describe how choices you make in planning and caring for your landscape can enhance the pollinators’ habitat.

Jen Stengle, an educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County since 2004, attended SUNY Cobleskill and Cornell University where she earned her degree in Ornamental Horticulture in 1987. She has a recent master’s degree focusing on landscape practices to support beneficial organisms. She is recognized for
her service to the green industry.
