Louise, a singer, claimed the sunny borders surrounding their home for annuals, perennials, bulbs, shrubs and small trees which bloom all season long.Eliot, a sculptor, applied his artist touch to the many dry-stacked stone walls terracing the ravine.A small stream meanders through the shady ravine creating a quiet refuge with perennials, shrubs and grasses adding color and texture.
